Description
The “Pugnitello” takes its name from an ancient vine, rediscovered and raised by San Felice within the experimental vineyard “Vitiarium”, a temple of biodiversity with which the company protects the genetic heritage of Tuscan viticulture. A particular grape, which gives a tactile and full-bodied bottle, characterized by a peculiar fruity and mineral taste. It ferments in contact with the skins for about 20-25 days at 30 ° C, and then slowly refines in barriques for 18-20 months and in the bottle for another 8 months. A Toscana Rosso IGT that represents something more than a simple wine, becoming the bearer of an ideal of protection of all those native varieties too often at risk of disappearance.
