The white wine Prato di Canzio Breganze DOC of the Maculan winery is a product that best expresses the characteristics of the territory of origin. Most of the production is in fact concentrated in the area between Thiene and Bassano where the volcanic and moraine hills, combined with excellent climatic conditions, allow the grapes to ripen to perfection. To produce this wine, a balanced blend of Chardonnay grapes for 50%, Sauvignon grapes for 20% and Vespaiola for 30% is performed. The production technique of Prato di Canzio Breganze DOC wine is very particular, as the vinification for the three types of grapes used takes place in different ways: in steel for Sauvignon and Vespaiola and in French oak barrels for Chardonnay. The same criterion applies to the aging, which takes place in steel for the first two grapes, while the Chardonnay is placed on the lees in barrique for 5 months. Then follows a maturation period of one year before proceeding with bottling. An important, structured, complex wine for aging, to be combined with intense dishes. Great satisfaction!
