Description
Silvano Piacentini is the producer of this Silvano Piacentini Amarone Della Valpolicella Riserva 2010, a red wine from Valpolicella with the best grapes of 2010 and with 16% alcohol.
Harvest: second decade of October. Vinification: after the harvest, the grapes are carefully selected and then placed in wooden crates in well-ventilated lofts for drying which lasts about 3-4 months. This is followed by pressing, maceration on the skins for about 15-20 days at a temperature of 23-25 ° C and finally fermentation. Aging: 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels; after bottling it rests for 6 months in the bottle. Appearance: intense ruby-garnet red. Nose: intense notes of licorice, aromatic herbs, raspberry jam. Palate: with a beautiful structure, it is warm, pulpy, tasty and with a long and consistent finish. Pairings: red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
